[Middlebury, CT – September, 2025] – Ion Solar Pros (iSP), a leading Connecticut-based solar energy company, has officially opened its new state-of-the-art installation and service facility in Middlebury, Connecticut. Located at 80 Turnpike Drive, the multi-bay center is designed to expand efficiency and capabilities for the iSP team, strengthening an installation and service division unlike anything currently seen in the solar energy and home battery industry.

The facility will serve as home to iSP’s Installation and Service Division, featuring dedicated space for advanced training, expanded storage, and enhanced administrative operations. The new facility was intentionally engineered to maximize efficiency and logistics in order to meet customer demands. With this expansion, iSP is positioned to install more solar energy and home battery systems while also providing service to all solar customers in Connecticut and Massachusetts—regardless of which company originally completed their installation. The facility supports iSP’s growing installation team, as they have added new crews to the team to support more installations. Conveniently, the new facility is less than three miles from iSP’s corporate headquarters at 751 Straits Turnpike, Suite 2000, Middlebury, CT 06762.

To further support its growth, iSP has added new vehicles to its service and installation fleet, allowing the company to reach more homeowners quickly and efficiently. Combined with the new facility, these investments have enabled iSP to install and service more customers in 2025 than any other year in company history.

This investment aligns with iSP’s mission of “revolutionizing the energy landscape by providing freedom, sustainability, and preservation throughout the world”. Earlier this year, iSP expanded its Installation and Service Division into Hopkinton, Massachusetts, furthering its commitment to regional growth and exceptional customer support.

“The demand from Connecticut and Massachusetts homeowners made this expansion an easy decision,” said Bill Barrieau, Chief Executive Officer of iSP.

“Our goal is simple: to give customers an unmatched, hassle-free experience for solar, home battery, and service needs. The growth of our team reflects both our reputation in the industry and the increasing demand for clean energy solutions in New England. We are aiming to be the Amazon of Solar”

An official opening ceremony for the Middlebury facility will be scheduled in the near future, giving customers, partners, and community members the opportunity to see firsthand how iSP is building the future of clean energy in Connecticut.

The Middlebury facility will continue to receive updates to improve functionality, integrate new technology, and elevate the customer experience.
